Cranioplasty

Children born with cranial vault deformities are at severe risk of normal brain development. Altered growth also produces problems in brain with large ventricles and increased intracranial pressure. The normal growth of children will be affected and invariably the vision gets affected permanently if no corrections are done.
Cranioplasty is advised for

Deformities of face

Some complex deformities of the face need combined and coordinated effort of neurosurgeon, maxillofacial surgeon and orthodontist. The children and patients with severe facial deformities will have airway problems (breathing difficulty) and visual disturbances.
